From virtual consultations, to in-office hearing aid fittings, and follow-up remote care sessions, we are able to successfully treat even the most complex cases of hearing loss even if you live thousands of miles away.

The first step is to obtain a hearing test from a local clinic & schedule a virtual consultation with one of our Doctors of Audiology.

During this consultation we will be able to determine the best hearing aid for you & discuss your specific treatment recommendations which will include our 45-day Best Practice Fitting sequence.

2. Schedule your in-clinic hearing aid fitting & virtual follow-up visits

Following your consultation, our patient care coordinators will work with you to schedule all your appointment times so you can begin to book your travel arrangements. We are also capable of accommodating appointment times that start earlier and end later than our typical office hours. Typically out-of-town patients will have 1-2 total visits at our clinic within a 2-3 week period. Numerous patients turn their trip to Phoenix into a vacation which is an additional benefit of traveling to the Phoenix area.

Your first in-office appointment will be to fit you with your new hearing aids. During this appointment we will ensure that your hearing aids are fit and programmed properly and take extra time to teach you how to use your devices successfully.

Your second visit will either be in-person for virtually depending on your specific treatment requirements. This will be determined during your initial consultation. Typically, we teach our out-of-town patients more than we teach our local patients so they can be even more self-sufficient.

Your third and fourth appointments are usually 100% virtual via remote care sessions through a hearing aid smartphone app. This way your provider can continue to check the data on your hearing aids and make any programming adjustments necessary to optimize your performance. All from the comfort of your own home.

Following your 45-day Best Practice Fitting sequence, you will be scheduled for several follow-up virtual sessions throughout the year and be required to travel to the Phoenix area 1x per year for in-office testing, diagnostics, and reprogramming of your devices to ensure long-term treatment success.
